Im Rahmen seiner Auseinandersetzung mit dem Phänomen des Pathos in der
Produktion von Science Fiction Filmen lädt das PATHOSBÜRO KünstlerInnen
und WissenschaftlerInnen zur Erweiterung der Perspektiven ein und macht
die entsprechenden Formate öffentlich.
Alexander Nikolic, in Wien lebender, international tätiger bildender Künstler und Kurator (u.a. „Slum TV“), stellt drei im Wiener Kontext wenig bekannte Filme vor und verweist in seiner Filmpräsentation auf politische Implikationen in den Herstellungs- und Wahrnehmungskontexten dieser Filme.

In the frame of an ongoing preoccupation with the phenomenon of pathos in the production of science fiction movies PATHOSBÜRO invites artists and scientists to broaden the perspectives on the topic and makes the resulting lecture-formats public.
Alexander Nikolic , Vienna based and internationally working visual artist and curator ( e.g. SLUM TV) introduces three films less known in the Viennese context and points out the political implications in the production- and perception-contexts of the chosen films.
